Patterns on Patterns Style

Nothing says Fall like back to school and back to work! This outfit is perfect for the workplace. This pencil skirt is stretchy and comfy, yet hugs your curves perfectly (well, I don’t have many curves, lol, but you get the point). The button-down top is silky and soft and I love that I can roll the sleeves up effortless for a more relaxed look. Of course I also paired it with a long duster for when there is a slight chill (or cold AC!)

I have never been really big on patterns. I’ve always played it pretty safe when it comes to wearing anything with a design or pattern on it. If I did wear a pattern, I would just wear one piece and balance it out with solid colors. A perfect example is when I wore these patterned pixie pants with a solid top. Now I am exploring a bit to mix patterns and see what works! This is my first attempt— first up polka dots and a honeycomb pattern!
