The Classic Trench Coat

Hi beauties! I’m so excited that it’s finally feeling like Fall in the evenings here in Atlanta! I am stoked about the Fall styles I have on deck to share with you all. I’ve made it a goal to step up my style game and want to bring you the very best as a style blogger. One thing you may not know about me is that I am also an educator. So by nature I love to share and teach. I have some exciting things in the works that are going to help you up your blogging game but I can’t share it just yet. So sit tight and enjoy this week's outfit while I work behind the scenes to bring you something amazing!

Oh, how I love a trench coat! {Insert emoji with heart eyes}

Every girl needs a pair of red pumps, and these cuties will make any outfit pop. Red pumps are just as classic as black pumps and they are a must for your wardrobe. These may not be the best choice for the corporate world or in the conservative workplace, but for date night, brunch, a night out with the girls, or anywhere else that demand you be stylish— these are an absolute must!

Nothing says STYLE like a classic trench coat! I swooned over this trench when I first saw it on the rack. It comes in navy blue as well, but there is something about the classic tan color, that made me want this one. A trench coat always reminds me of a sophisticated woman who knows what she wants and knows where she is going. While clothes don’t make us, they do have the ability to motivate us. As the saying goes— When you look good, you feel good. Well, this trench coat makes me feel super motivated to get business done. I feel like a grown woman when I have it on! Is that crazy?

Are you notorious for forgetting (or losing) your umbrella, like me? So what’s awesome about this trench is that the material is water-resistant. Yay!

There are so many “Classics” in this outfit. With the exception of the distressed denim jeans, the shirt, trench coat, and red pumps are all classic pieces. I know we are in a trend this Fall of patterns and animal prints, but no matter the current style trend there is always room for classic pieces. A standard light blue button-down (some people say button up!), this long-sleeve top can be dressed up or down. Its a good piece to have because it can be dressed up for work with a suit or dressed down for a casual chic look. In the winter you can layer it with a v-neck sweater. So you see, it’s one of those standard pieces that you just have to have in your closet.
